NEW YEAR’S EVE: STUFFED and BASTED

                                                              At Nestor’s . . .
An assortment of cold dishes included 2 different homemade eggplant spreads!

Meanwhile, Nestor sautéed sausages in one pan and shrimp in another for two different hot dishes.

Then Kathy pitched in to help recreate an appetizer they enjoyed on their last cruise:  rare duck breast with watermelon cubes.

For the main course, I deboned and stuffed a rabbit . . .

It made 8 delicious servings.

I also served big dill and potato buns because Nestor said he'd like to have some.

Younger generation took over for dessert -- delicious Momofoku Crack Pie!

All this and a fun game of Apples to Apples; suddenly it was midnight and 2013!

Happy New Year, Everyone!
