There’s stuff to do with kids that’s reasonably close to the airport if
you’re flying out of the John Wayne airport.
The Discovery Cube, which is a cross between a children’s
museum and a science centre attracted us with its dinosaur section.
A lot of stuff was interesting to adults as well as kids.
Hockey
Science included a Zamboni.

When
Bryan stood inside this Wind-a-ma-jig, the glasses blew off his nose when the
wind reached 70mph.
The
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle section was another winner with its interactive games.
After the Cube, we enjoyed
lunch at the 4th Street Market in Santa Ana. Bryan’s comment: “Jinny’s Pizza is worth
noting as is the Chapman’s Craft Lager.”
We then drove out to the Newport Beach Nature Reserve for a
walk.
Bryan noted, “A coyote was trying to catch two rabbits (without success . . . this time.”
