NEW YEAR’S EVE, 2013

This year we were at Nestor's again and first he and Kathy covered a coffee table with appetizers.  There were cold plates: herring with cheese slivers; pickles; huge olives stuffed with cheese; and little, stuffed red peppers.   And, there was also a plate of hot BBQ Chinese duck from the T&T Market in Surrey -- wow!

Then we went to the table for Oysters Rockefeller .  .  .

followed by Kathy’s Korean thin-sliced Beef Short Ribs.

Next came a half (or a whole, if we wanted) Dungeness crab for each of us with a mixture of oven roasted and BBQ grilled vegetables!  I was so excited I forgot to take a picture.  L

This morning I am 2 pounds heavier!  But it's the New Year and the sun is shining.  I'm looking forward to a great year for all of us!

 Cheers, Eleanor
