Most of the
time, Nicole improvises as she goes along so often she doesn’t really have a
recipe for me to share with you. The Sesame Seed
Buns that Bryan made today,
however, are just great and easy to follow:
2 ½ cups flour
2 ¼ tsp yeast (or one package)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg white
2 tbsp melted butter
¾ cup warm water
Sesame seeds
Combine all ingredients and
knead. Let rest one hour.
Grease a baking sheet.
Divide dough into 6 balls. Dip the top of each ball in water and then
sprinkle with seeds.
Cover and let rise 45 minutes. Then, preheat
oven to 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
Bake for 16 minutes until golden.
